OJA and Tamritz are proud to announce the launch of the Los Angeles Middle-school Innovation Initiative:

Introduction:
The Online Jewish Academy and Tamritz are seeking Jewish middle schools in the Los Angeles area to participate in a digital learning innovation initiative. Participating schools should be passionate about harnessing new media to impact student learning and engagement. Schools will receive professional development, curricular and material support and ongoing consultation in the creation of a new media blended course or classroom.

Program Fees:

Thanks to the generous support of The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, the Joshua Venture Group Dual Investment Program and the
AVI CHAI Foundation, OJA and Tamritz are able to offer this program to a limited number of Los Angeles area schools at the reduced cost of $5,000.

Webinar:
An informational webinar will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 10:00am PDT.  The purpose of this webinar is to share background information about this pilot program and to answer any questions you may have.

Register:  Please register for the webinar ahead of time.

Applications:
Due by Friday, April 19, 2013, 12:00pm PDT.

Applications are open to middle schools, grades 6-8, who are willing to designate one administrator (or educational technology team member) and one or more faculty members as campus innovators.
