Target Population:


The Online Jewish Academy (OJA) works to meet the needs of high school students with a range of learning needs and a spectrum of disorders. These include ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety disorders, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, auditory processing disorders, dyscalculia, visual processing disorders, executive functioning disorders, Asperger’s syndrome and high functioning Autism, chronic illnesses, blindness, and hearing impairment.  While the OJA hopes to expand its access to address additional students’ needs over time, disorders that are beyond the scope of the current program include Autism, Down syndrome, and other conditions associated with severe mental impairment, explosive disorders, and some psychiatric disorders.
