Online Jewish Academy (OJA) has partnered with New Community Jewish High School, Shalhevet School, YULA Boys and YULA Girls High Schools, and Valley Torah High School to broaden the population that these schools are able to serve, especially increasing access to students with learning differences.  Students and families choose the campus that works best for them –  geographically, socially and religiously. Together with the home campus and OJA staff, careful consideration is given to designing a program and schedule that works for each student.  Students spend their days on campus, taking some of their courses in a traditional classroom and some using OJA’s online/blended courses.  Students are fully engaged in their home campus life, including participation in community events, extra-curricular activities, sports and clubs.

OJA was established by a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles and operates under the sponsorship of the BJE – Builders of Jewish Education.
